Odin's day or Mercury day

It might not seem obvious at first as to why is Wednesday the day of Odin but the english names of the week were an import from the Vikings that came to colonize Britain and the name of the god related to Mercury in the Viking pantheon is Odin and the name of the day of the week Óðinsdagr.

Mercury is related to the throat chakra.

Up to the 7th chakra the chakras go in pairs: 1st with the 4th, 2nd with the 5th, 3rd with the 6th. Also the polarity of the chakras alternate between active-expressing-giving and passive-receptive-receiving. The man's root chakra is active the woman's root chakra is passive then man's sacral is passive while woman's sacral is active, the man's solar plexus is active while a woman's is passive, man's heart center is passive, woman's is active, man's throat chakra is active while woman's is passive.

Up to the 7th where duality is transcended.

The world of duality is transformed into trinity when there is a conscious intent, what is called Sankalpa or renunciation, aspirational Bodhicitta. Sankalpa involves Iccha Shakti or the energy of desire.

In the Vairocanābhisaṃbodhi Sutra the mantra for humans is:

Namaḥ samanta buddhā nāṃ, icchā-paraṃ manomaye me svāhā.

Quatenity comes when the conscious intent gives a permanent line of results in time. For accomplishing Śamatha there are 5 faults and 8 remedies according to the "Blaze of non-dual Bodhicitta" book from Tibet House (which is available for free).

The 5 faults are:

1 .Laziness

2. Forgetfulness of the instruction

3. Laxity and excitement

4. Non application of the remedies

5. Over application of the remedies

and the remedies are:

1.Faith

2. Aspiration

3. Effort

4. Pliancy

5. Mindfulness (smirti)

6. Introspection

7. Application of remedies

8. Equanimity of remedy application

The first 4 remedies are to overcome the first fault while the remaining remedies are antitodes for the remaining faults.

Transforming the quaternity into the pentagram is to bring the 5 centers of man in harmonious accord. For example with the swabhav, Buddha, Socrates belong to the thinking type rightly, Nietzche belongs wrongly, Meera belongs to the emotional type rightly, De Sade belongs wrongly, Gandhi belongs to the active type rightly, Hitler belongs wrongly.

According to OSHO:

"All the three are parts; only one is more significant than the others. And once you know what type you are, your path becomes very easy and smooth. Then you don't waste your energy. Then you don't dissipate your energy unnecessarily on paths which don't belong to you. So, really, to find out one's type is a basic requirement for spiritual search. Otherwise you can go on doing many things, and you create only confusion, you create only a disintegration. This is what Krishna means in the Gita by swabhav - the type, that which is your nature. So he says it is better to die unsuccessful in one's own type than to succeed in another's type. It is better to be a failure - even to be a failure - according to one's own type than to be a success according to someone else's type, because that success will become a burden, just a weight, a dead weight. And even to fail according to your own nature is good, because even that failure will enrich you. You will be matured through it, you will know much through it, you will become much through it. So even failure is good if it is according to one's own type."
