Friday (Frjádagr) is ruled by Venus which in turn governs the heart chakra or Anahata. Anahita is the name of a Goddess from the Persian pantheon and it means ‘undefiled' in Avestan and is associated with waters and Frigg is a shaman in the Viking pantheon associated with love.
Vedic culture has a deep connection with water. Ganges is a tirtha that is accessed during Kumbha Mela, or there are Kunds which are energized water bodies that enhance the receptivity to Sadhana.
Here are the names of a few such tirthas: Śambhala, Gangorti for Ganges, Kashi, Alkufa a mystical city of Sufis, The pyramides, Makkah, The Holy Fire that lights up on the Holy Sepulcre during Great Saturday, The Bodhi Tree, Tsadras, The Holy Ditch at the Diveyevo Monastery dug by nuns and Saint Seraphim of Sarov.
Tirthas are bridges that channel the divine usually when large masses of people with a common intent or aspiration come in pilgrimages or Yatra. During pilgrimages the boundaries between individuals who go in a Yatra dissolve and the divine sips into the collective benefiting everyone.
Usually manifestation happens moment to moment based on desires, words spoken or thoughts that we express every day but due to age long conditionings, habitual tendencies we don't always notice that Universe is eavesdropping picking up and manifesting our subtlest desires.
The most important in the manifestation is the predominant vibration offered at this moment based on the momentum, that is intention and attention which we are most invested in. Say social networks …. passively 24/7 and actively used for a few hours a day and working in an office with computers for several hours a day that's where one of the point of attraction where there is least resistance and manifestations come along easier along that vibration, or staying most of the time indoors and meeting people with a similar mindset … and then manifesting a trip which was fairly simpe 10 years ago … becomes like a momentuous accomplishment not because is hard but because the habitual tendencies, the samskaras are along different grooves. And reverting the grooves usually takes the same amount it took to build them with mindfulness and conscious choices.
The easiest times to set intents is when the mind is relaxed and is not invested in the story we say about ourselves, that is first thing in the morning, before starting an activity or conversation which is called segment intending, and before sleep (Yoga Nidra or Dream Yoga).
For the segmemt intending there are beautiful Gathas. Here are a few from Plum Village, The Zen Tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh:
